Richard J. Shaker, PhD (mathematics), principal officer, strategist, portfolio manager, trader, client support.   Manager of private investment partnerships, 1977-1994.  Founded SFS, 1995.  National Security Agency mathematician and executive (1968-94).   Retired (12/31/94) as Chief, Mathematical Research.  Dr. Shaker won numerous prizes for research and management excellence, including the Presidential Meritorious Award in 1993.  He headed organization of 100+ research scientists, directing their work and managing multi-million dollar computer design and mathematical research programs.  
 
Kathryn S. Baummer, MSEE, infotech research and development, client support.  Work experience includes software and engineering development and team management for AAI Corp and Booze Allen as well as sales, marketing, client support, leadership development and training for a direct sales company.

Alice W. Conover, BA (psychology and communications), client support.  Work experience includes sales management & marketing for Federated Dept Stores and The Limited Corp. as well as extensive leadership development, sales, and marketing training for a direct marketing company.

Robert M.N. Shaker, JD, BA (economics), chief compliance officer, portfolio manager, chief CEF strategist, trader.  Has studied and monitored closed end funds since joing SFS in 2004.  Prior to SFS, worked as a civil rights attorney (1995-2004) in Atlanta, GA and as an economic advisor to the US Embassy, San Jose, Costa Rica.
